We recently released a major update to the Škoda Connect app, which serves as the driver's one-stop shop for their entire car.
The mobile application offers a wide range of options in conjunction with the Škoda car, depending on the particular model. The user has a complete overview of his or her car via a smartphone or watch and can also control some of its functionalities. What can such an app do and what challenges did we face? Let's take a closer look.
And much more.
(The app is already available in App Store and Google Play - CS press release)
We faced several challenges in connection with this project. One of the biggest of these was jumping into the LeSS framework. The scaled scrum, consisting of several dozen people, thoroughly tested our ability to communicate and cooperate with Škoda Auto and other companies within the multi-vendor environment. Another challenging task was to find over 40 quality developers in a very short time.
We are currently continuing to expand the functionality and are working together to take the phone and car connection experience to the next level.
