A native self-care insurance app

Our cooperation with Direct insurance started quickly. We got on the same wavelength right away and were able to work together on creating a native mobile self-care insurance application in record time. The app makes Direct the first insurance company on the market where customers can arrange everything entirely by themselves, directly from their telephones.

We took the project over from the original contractor in June of 2021 and were faced with a huge challenge: developing a native application in record time.  Thanks to a human approach, mutual open communication, and agile management, our dedicated Direct team was able to deliver a complete front-end in three-and-a-half-months, making it possible for us to go live with the app in September 2021.

New functionalities

In cooperation with Direct, we introduced functionalities into the app that were new to the market – for example, a ‘green card’ available off-line. Thanks to our client team, we are able to respond with similar speed to extraordinary events and implement further new functions in the application within hours. Furthermore, our cooperation with Etnetera Activate provided the client with detailed data about user behaviour.

I believe that both sides put their best foot forward and the collaboration was very intensive at the beginning, also due to the fact that Etnetera took over the project from the original supplier. Everything eventually worked out well, which was also due to the mutual chemistry and enthusiasm for the project.
