Project Overview
Etnetera has been collaborating with Škoda Auto's Digital Showroom department since 2016. Our goal is to make the whole process easier and more efficient, for sellers and customers alike.
The main tool is a tablet application available internationally. We alsoimplemented backend systems, including a content management system, into the client's infrastructure, enabling Škoda Auto to digitize their showrooms.

Prototyping and User Testing
Back in 2016, in partnership with Škoda Auto, we developed a range of innovative prototype devices for the digital showroom concept. These prototypes were packed with features and served as a demonstration of the concept, as well as for collecting feedback through user testing.
The Touchtable Display
The table displays the dealer's complete range of offerings—it allows for individual customization based on the specific requirements of each country. The customer can access all information, smoothly rotate the car's image, change the color, and select different wheel designs. The interior can be explored in a 360-degree and fully panoramic view.
Results
Showroom in a Tablet
We introduced the Digital Showroom application for tablets, which is now in use in 18 showrooms across 12 European countries. This app allows customers to personalize a car according to their preferences using a tablet or a touch table.
The customized vehicle can then be projected in life size on a video wall for a closer look. Even if the customer doesn't make an immediate purchase, they will receive a scanned QR code linking to the configuration they created in the showroom.
