React Native Developer for Client Plugin Ecosystem

For a client project, we’re looking for a developer with a sharp eye for technical detail and a strong feel for user experience. You’ll help expand a unique plugin ecosystem as part of an international team at a tech company that bridges finance and digital innovation to deliver smarter experiences for banks and their customers. What you’ll do 

The core of your work will be expanding the client platform by creating new plugins and porting existing ones. Your goal will not only be to write functional code, but also to ensure that interaction with plugins (via the configuration interface known as Inspector) is clear and intuitive for users.

• Build & port plugins: Create new plugins and port existing ones, integrating elements, actions, and effects to extend the platform.
• Design configuration UIs: Implement clear, usable configuration forms. Keep key settings easy to find, with advanced options logically tucked away (but available).
• Define plugin properties: Specify schemas (using Zod) to describe plugin properties and configuration options.
• Ship cross-platform: Deliver reliable code across iOS, Android, and the web.
• Document your work: Produce clear docs and usage examples to speed adoption of each plugin.
• Collaborate closely: Partner with PO, designer and the client’s core team to ensure smooth integration and visual consistency.

What you’ll bring

• Strong TypeScript skills (must-have)
• Advanced JavaScript and React (hands-on with hooks)
• Experience with modular/plugin architectures
• Understanding of form UI and configuration workflows
• Ability to prioritise settings (what’s essential vs. advanced)
• Familiarity with Zod for schema definition (nice to have)
• English sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation

Nice to have

• UX/UI experience, ideally for developer tools
• Practical experience with React Native Reanimated and declarative animations
• Knowledge of the Tamagui UI library
• Experience with property inspectors or visual editors
• Understanding of internationalisation (i18n) for plugin settings
